To try to have the pictures make more sense, imagine you go down the stairs and then turn right, and I'll try to take you clockwise through the finished space.
The old antique china cabinet is now a display case for finished Lego projects. We're still working on filling it. The desk will be used for all kinds of things, and give Ben a work space for summer drill writing.
The Lego storage drawers finally have a happy home. And all of those rips in the brand-new screen - that's the work of a lonely outside mouse who would like to visit - we actually watched him get briefly stuck between the screen and window. But he just made some new holes and got right out.
Our old dining room table and chairs will be great for board games and puzzles.

Speaking of games and puzzles, they're all stored on these new bookshelves along the back wall, along with video games, DVDs, and some books. Maria did most of this organizing, with some help from Sam and Mason.
The treadmill is in the back of the family-room section. That new TV on a stand is really cool.
The living area is down the steps and directly to the left. We have the Play Station 3 and Wii set up down there, and the cable TV, so there's plenty to do.
