Maria drew and carved her own pumpkin, Sam drew his but let Ben do the carving. Ben also fried pumpkin seeds, and as always, I had the glamorous job of scooping out the guts.
The picture with Sam and the monkey is for Sam for school. He was chosen as "Student of the Week," and part of the privilege is to bring home the "Class Pet" and take a picture of the child and the class pet doing something together. So we thought it would be cool if the monkey helped Sam carve the pumpkin.
The cool Jack-o-Lantern lights that Grandma K. got for the kids change colors in the pumpkins.
