We got a real snow day today - the kind when you get up and everything is covered in white. And for the first time this year, we canceled straight away, at 5:20, so there was no getting up and ready because the two hour delay may or may not turn into a cancellation. We still only ended up with 3-4 inches before it started turning into freezing rain, but the kids were able to play in it before it got too soggy. Check in later for a picture of "Frosty" the snow lump (the snow wouldn't pack well enough for a snow man).
We went ahead and gave the kids their Valentine's Day gifts today too. Ben has meetings the next two evenings, and since the gifts were Legos, its much better if he's here to put Sam's together. So it worked out perfect to do it this afternoon. Maria got Spongebob's Krusty Krab, and Sam has an Indiana Jones set that is almost finished.
