Yesterday we went to Oxford to celebrate Homecoming at Miami. Ben and I both marched with the Alumni Band, and Darrell kept the kids for us during the morning rehearsals and brought them to the game. (Thanks!) We had a good time, but it was cold, and we left the very depressing game (we lost big to Kent State) after halftime. That gave the four of us and Lisa Berkey (who came with us) to shop a little uptown before the Alumni band reception at 7:00. By the time the dinner and program was over it was 9:30. At least the kids had other kids there to play with this year. We didn't get home until 11:45. The kids slept much of the way home and went straight to bed after we got home. Today should be a lazy day so everyone can rest up before we go back to school tomorrow.
