Today were the first two (of six) performances of Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Maria plays Gladys, the youngest and meanest of the Herdman clan. Even though they've had practices all week, we were concerned that the play wasn't performance-ready yet. But we were wrong. Very wrong. Both performances were great - the kids do such a wonderful job. And Maria was awesome too. We're so proud. Acting mean and angry was a stretch for her, and the director seemd to be hard on her sometimes. But it paid off - she did great.
