This afternoon we met my parents at the "A Christmas Story" house in Cleveland on our way north for our holiday visit. Ben's been wanting to go for a few years, but it has never worked out before. This year we decided to stop and made plans to meet Mom and Dad there. And apparently it was a common plan as it was pretty crowded. We walked through the actual house first, which was small but did show the famous lamp and a few other goodies. Then we waited in line, outside, in the 30 miles per hour wind, to walk through the museum across the street. We saw Randy's snowsuit, the Red Rider rifle, and talked to the actress who played the mean elf from the scene in which Ralphie forgets to ask Santa for the Red Rider BB gun. The actor who delivered the Leg Lamp was also there, and shared a few interesting stories about filming the movie.
